I almost laughed out loud when I flipped though the insert and saw that one of the band members is credited with ?tuner.? Would that make him a tunerist? And what exactly did he tune? Being in tune isn?t exactly a requirement for the Lowdown?s brand of noisefuckery; a big mash of goofy beats, obnoxious skronking, and some of the most grating vocals I?ve heard in a long time. I can see some people getting really into this and I bet their shows are a blast, but it?s the sort of stuff that makes me want to kidnap the band, stuff them in a room somewhere and force them to listen to their disc until they piss their pants and promise never to do it again. 7/10 -- Neddal Ayad (27 June, 2006)
