I had a hard time deciding how to review this one. My instant reaction to this when I first saw it in the stack was that I was probably going to hate it based on the artwork and band name/title choices, it just looked like the chances were good that it was going to be lame. Trying to over ride my initial reaction, I put it on. What I heard was basically four improvised tracks that had been given the dub treatment. The jams are very reminiscent of something you might have heard at the Knitting Factory in the late eighties but with lots of trippy reverb and studio weirdness thrown in for good measure. This is yet another case where I can’t decide if these guys are brilliant or terrible, or brilliantly terrible…I think I might actually like this one….or not… 5/10 -- Kevin Richards (2 December, 2009)
