Mr. Outer Limits, the elusive man who brought us “Matrix Metals” and “Explorers,” gives us “Foxy Baby,” recordings that are now available on NNF vinyl from a previous tape release. All of his projects are sun-soaked warped loops that sound like they’re radically tripped out versions of other song excerpts. Total curling waves of sound dripping with the heat of summer bliss. This one differs from “Matrix Metals” and “Explorers” in that it’s more of a bubblegum-cracking mall meltdown. Tie on your four-wheeled roller skates and go for an altered ride down the soft tar of jellied blacktop liquefied by the heat. The album packaging and record itself scream glam-trash. A zebra print dust jacket houses luscious pink marble. So swank it’ll make every streetwalker jealous. Glitzy damaged hallucinations of what might happen when you drive down the red light district on a liberated late afternoon. Reminds me a bit of James Ferraro’s style. If you liked this guy’s other projects you’ll surely fall in love with this one. 8/10 --
